Oduah Cries out: ‘Why they are after Me’

Aviation minister, Princess Stella Oduah, has blamed her ordeal in the hands of those she described as 'entrenched interest in the aviation section', stating it was for this reason that they remain  unrelenting in their criticism against her and the nation's aviation industry under her purview.

Speaking with select journalists in Abuja, the embattled minister said, "entrenched interests in the aviation sector who, for over 38 years, have held the sector by the jugular and refused to allow any meaningful development and change take place," are out to rubbish her modest efforts in the sector.

The minister, who said she would not be distracted by these entrenched interests, further said, "for the over 38 years that our airports were a damning commentary on our status as part of the civilized world; or when our airspace existed without the requisite navigational equipment and facilities to make the airspace safe; this category of persons saw no evil and heard no evil while they happily clapped their ways to the banks.
