Chris Okotie stands by comments that all Catholics will go to hell & the Pope is anti-Christ
"You recently stirred up controversy when you said Catholics would go to hell. Why did you say that?
It is because the church perverts the gospel of Jesus Christ and that perversion is located in the leadership. Even as Pope Francis recently announced. However, there are many good Christians within the Catholic Church who are not aware of the doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church, that has substituted Mary for Jesus, in what is known as the hyperdulia of the Virgin Mary. Salvation for them is not through Jesus alone but in accordance with what Pope Francis recently announced to the world. That, in itself, is a direct violation of the sanctity of the scriptures. Continue...
You even described the Pope as "an anti-Christ and a friend of Satan" and that the Catholic Church is a counterfeit church set up by Satan. What made you say this?
The heresies in their doctrine and the recent announcement by Pope Francis corroborate this position.
You were credited to have said that tattooing and plastic surgery were not sins before God; can you explain this to the public because it's still a controversial issue?
No, I didn't say that. What I said is that even though it is our body and to an extent we have the liberty to do what we want with it, at the end of the day, everybody will stand before God to give account of how he/she used his/her body.
Same way people criticise pastors who have jets, what do you think?
It is because of the novelty. Pastors who buy these jets have their reasons. When you do something new, it will create a stir.
Do you own a jet, if not, are you planning to buy one?
No, I do not have a jet now. But I will if it becomes necessary in the prosecution of my ecclesiastical responsibilities.
Some people still can't understand why you divorced twice; they believe it is wrong for pastors to divorce. Why do you always divorce?
I have addressed this issue from the pulpit several times.
But why did you divorce someone you reportedly told your members God asked you to marry?
I don't want to go into that again.
Are you still planning to remarry?
No.

Well Coffee as a Memory Booster
Researchers had 73 men and women volunteers who did not habitually consume caffeine study pictures of flowers, musical instruments and other objects. After they were done, they gave 35 of them a pill containing 200-milligrams of caffeine — the amount found in one to two cups of coffee — and the rest an identical looking placebo. Neither the subjects nor the researchers knew until the study ended who took caffeine and who took an inert pill.
The next day they showed the volunteers more pictures, asking them if they were the same, different, or different but similar to the pictures they had seen the previous day.
Those who had caffeine pills were significantly better at identifying pictures that were different but similar to the ones they had seen the previous day. In other tests, the researchers found that less than 200 milligrams had no effect, and more did not further improve the participants' scores.
The senior author, Michael A. Yassa, formerly at Johns Hopkins and now an assistant professor of neurobiology at the University of California, Irvine, said that the study, published online in Nature Neuroscience, does not prove that caffeine is a memory pill.
"We don't even know what the exact effective dose would be," he said. What will Dr. Yassa do himself? "I'm a regular coffee drinker, and nothing is going to change that."

How Do You React To Situations?
1. How do you react to stress? Do you face them head on, or do you attempt to hide from them and use avoidance techniques? Do you prepare for the possibilities, and do you rely on planning and preparation, or do you simply procrastinate and enjoy some degree of denial, until there is some sort of crisis that mandates and forces you to react? It is almost always better to be proactive than reactive, and how well one plans and prepares is often a major factor in success!
2. Are those scenarios that are often considered to be unknown truly that way, or are they that way because we do not prepare to our fullest potential and capabilities? One of the most prevailing fears is the fear of the unknown, so wouldn't it make sense to learn more, prepare more, plan for contingencies with numerous backup plans, etc., so that little is unplanned? Those that plan most thoroughly are nearly always best prepared for eventualities, thus avoiding being as overwhelmed as those that do not!
3. Everyone faces certain obstacles at some time, but what differentiates the most prepared from the others, is how one reacts to these. Do you perceive of obstacles as stress inducing problems, or is your mindset that they are challenges that you are prepared for, and will overcome? Obviously, when someone proceeds with a positive, can - do mindset, he reduces his distress, because he sees things to get things done, rather than fearing what might occur. There are far more individuals that spend the majority of their time worrying and procrastinating, than being definitive and impactful, through the dedication and commitment to positive proactivity and the perception that one will succeed.
Are you really prepared for life's occurrences, or do you avoid confronting challenges proactively? How things will end up are often up to you!

India funeral stampede kills 18
The pandemonium, which injured 60 more people, started after the gates were closed to the residence of Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin, who had died the day before at age 102, CNN sister network CNN-IBN reported.

About 25,000 people were on the bridge at the time, and many jumped off it into the Sindh River.
In February, at least 36 died at a stampede at a train station, as millions of people clamored to get to the Ganges River for a Hindu religious festival.

"I am Not Quitting Music For Politics" – 9ice
An obviously infuriated 9ice tells E-Punch, "I am preparing to release a double album this year. We released five songs on Wednesday and also shot a video. We plan to release another one on Friday.
I am tired of these false reports, I can't count how many times that 2face was rumoured to have died, yet he is still alive. It is so annoying and for the record I am still doing music full time. I just had my Industry Night on Wednesday night. So where are all these stories emanating from?"
The controversial viral quoted the artiste as saying, "I'm leaving music, I need to go into something more challenging. Music is no longer competitive for me, I've done all that needs to be done in music"

PHOTOS: Ghanian Football Player Catches BBA Housemate, Elikem With His Wife
The former Black Stars Striker, Lamptey, has accused 2013 BBA housemate of going to bed with his wife.
He reportedly raised the matter and took legal actions against Elikem when he found out that his wife, whom he has been married to for 20 years, was having illicit affairs.
Speaking during different interviews he had granted to Tv channels in Ghana, Lamptey insisted he had caught his wife and Elikem in questionable positions in their home a reasonable number of times, and that he was certain the BBA star was in a romantic relationship with his wife...
Last year Domptey had announced that he was not the biological father of the 3 children his marriage produced, and that he had carried out a DNA test that proved it.
Elikem has however denied all the allegations leveled against him, saying there was no way the stories were true. He insists that they are all just idle rumors being tossed around by 'fools'.
The Accra high court has adjourned the case to 22 January, 2013.
