Deposed Wife-Beating Deji Of Akure Begs For Reinstatement, Sends 18-Page Apology Letter To Gov. Mimiko

The deposed former Deji of Akure Kingdom, Oluwadare Adepoju Adesina, has written an emotional letter of consideration to the Ondo state government to reinstate him as the paramount ruler.

Mr. Adepoju was deposed after saharaReporters revealed his battery of his wife, Olori Bolanle, in May 2010. His battered wife took ill and subsequently died in July 2011. Mr. Adepoju then relocated to the United Kingdom.

In the letter, obtained exclusively by SaharaReporters through his lawyer, Barrister Olusola Oke, the deposed Deji appealed to Governor Olusegun Mimiko, for whom he claimed to have worked tirelessly during his election campaign, to consider his plea.

"I must passionately plead with your Excellence to remember how well I stood behind you and fought with you towards ensuring that you won the election and to ensure that you also recovered your stolen mandate," he said.

Recounting how he was deposed from the town because he allegedly poured a concoction on his estranged late wife, Olori Bola Adepoju Adesina, he said the avoidable communication gap was the reason behind the widely-reported incident.

He claimed that the escalated fracas between him and the late Olori was misconstrued by the press which, he also alleged, refused to report his own version of the story.

Dr Ige Ogunleye, the Chairman of the Osupa Ruling house which Adesina hails from, confirmed receipt of the letter, but he declined further comment.

Many sources in the ruling house disclosed that the letter comes at an important time, as the Deji throne is vacant. SaharaReporters had earlier gathered from a kingmaker in the palace that the Osupa Ruling House is the next family to present candidates for the throne.

We also learnt that chiefs in Akure will this week complete traditional rites for the late Oba Adebiyi Adegboye Adesida. A source revealed that the daughter of the deceased, Princess Adetutu, is expected to be installed as Regent of Akure pending the emergence of a new king.

The palace source told our reporter that the belated installation was on account of family exigencies.

"The issue is that Princess Adetutu was nursing her baby when the sudden death of her father was pronounced. But immediately after the whole rites she might will be installed as the regent of the kingdom this week or early in the New Year," the source said.

But an aide to the Lisa of Akure, High Chief James Olusoga, told SaharaReporters in a phone interview that the traditional rites would be completed with the installation of a regent, most likely between Christmas and the New Year festival period.

With just 23 days since the death of Adebiyi Adesida, the jostling for the throne has begun at a frantic pace, with members of the Osupa Ruling House lobbying kingmakers for the vacant sit.

While some seem to favour the return of the deposed Adesina to the throne, others object, fearing victimisation should he re-emerge the king.

In the letter, however, the former and perhaps future Deji seems to have leant his lessons of his experience and reconciled with those who worked against him.

The verbal feud between former leader, Olusegun Obasanjo and the Nigerian President, Goodluck Jonathan, is getting deeper as presidency has submitted himself to the National Human Rights Commission, NHRC, for probe over criminal allegations against him by former president, Olusegun Obasanjo.

Acting on the instruction of the president, the Attorney-General of the Federation (AGF) and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke, forwarded Chief Obasanjo's letter to the commission for investigation into the alleged rights violations contained in the letter.

The AGF, in a memo dated December 23 and addressed to the Executive Secretary of the NHRC, Professor Bem Angwe, requested the commission to investigate the allegations bordering on human rights violations contained on page 9-10 of the letter.

President Goodluck Jonathan, who denied the allegations in his response, is specifically inviting the rights commission to unravel the truth in the allegation that his government had begun training over 1,000 snipers to terminate his political opponents.

My abductors demanded dollars –Akinola

A   former  Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion), Dr. Peter Akinola,  on Wednesday  recounted his ordeal in the hands of the gunmen who abducted him, his daughter and driver on Tuesday in Abeokuta, Ogun State.

He said that the armed  men took them into a forest where they took off his shirt and shoes  and then demanded dollars.

The cleric, noted for his outspokenness on national and international issues, added that his driver was not as lucky as he was stripped down to his boxers.

Akinola, who  spoke    to a congregation during a Christmas service in Abeokuta, said that his daughter,   driver and himself, were  rescued  because of God's  benevolence.

The retired cleric added that he had gone to the secretariat of the youth training centre he established in Abeokuta to  give   Christmas presents to the  workers  when two armed men   appeared and whisked the three of them away .

He said that in the forest, the gunmen insisted that he must give the dollars in his Sports Utility Vehicle.

Expressing surprise at the rate with which the news of the incident spread, Akinola  added that Governor Ibikunle Amosun and the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Ikemefuna Okoye,  personally led the search for their rescue.

He said,  "I left  my  house at about 11am (on Tuesday) for  our site where we are building structures to train young people in Nigeria who are unemployed. The irony of it is that as I was coming out of the place where I had gone to give food to our workers for Christmas,   two young men came out of their car from nowhere. They asked me to open the door, knocking the glass with their guns.

"I instructed my driver, Jonah,  to open the door for them. They sandwiched us at the back of the car and they drove off. They told us to put our heads down and that they would blow off our heads  if we looked up. They drove for about an hour, where we didn't know until we discovered that we were in   a thick forest. Then I requested to talk and informed them that there was no enough fuel in the car.

"They queried us for not having enough fuel in the car and my driver responded that we just returned from a journey. In the bush , I was surprised at how they were able to locate a filling station, bought N3,000 fuel and we continued with the journey. That was about 3pm.

"They started asking questions about dollars but I said there was none. I told them I was a village pastor that had just retired and that the car was given to me by the church. They asked about the security of the car and I told them there was none. They searched for it for almost two hours but couldn't find anything.

"I was just praying for God of mercy  to come to our rescue. I was just remembering how God saved some believers in the Bible and I concluded that if I must die, it must not  be in the hands of these people.

"Unknown to us, the news had started circulating   and people had  started praying. Meanwhile they had taken everything from us; they had taken my shirt, my shoes and I was left with only my singlet and trousers. But my driver was not so lucky; his shirt, trousers and shoes were taken and he was left with only  his boxers.

"They said I should walk; when we moved about hundred metres from the car, I was asked to take the left while my driver was asked to take the right. While inside the bush, I was hearing them  threatening my driver.

"After a while, we started hearing gun shots. Apparently, the police were around. Later, we learnt that the governor,   the commissioner of police and the secretary to the state government led the rescue team. When we no longer heard any gunshot, I trekked back to the footpath calling my driver.

"Not quite long,  I saw   them approaching  me,  I raised my hands and told them it was my car that they took and that I was looking for my driver. They said they were policemen and that I should come into the car.

He commended the team which, according to him,    engaged the gunmen in a gun battle before they regained their freedom.

Akinola said, "The leader of the police team called TJ was a wonderful man. For the first time in my life, I doff my hat for the police for their performance. This same man, a Muslim, approached me and said they have heard about what I've been doing, that I should not stop, saying God has preserved my life for this purpose.

"It was just beyond my imagination that I came back in peace but was worried about my driver whom I later found out was in a hospital."

‘I Will Love You Forever’: Brad Pitt’s Secret Love Letters Uncovered — And They’re NOT To Angelina!

What do you get the woman who has everything for Christmas? As Brad Pitt prepares to spend the holidays with Angelina Jolie and their six children, he has already poured out his heart on the page, expressing his devotion to the woman he loves. But it's NOT a special Christmas note for Jolie! Radar has uncovered secret love letters that Pitt penned for an ex-girlfriend, actress Jill Schoelen.

"I adore you. I will love you forever," one letter to Schoelen reads. And in another, he gushes, "I can't stop thinking about you. I don't feel complete without you next to me."

Pitt wrote the letters while dating Schoelen in the late 80s. She has revealed, "Brad wrote me one of the most beautiful poems a man can write a woman. I thought he was so deep and soulful." And dating him, she claimed, was "a beautiful life experience."

But that wasn't enough for the horror movie actress. In 1989, she broke his heart by dumping him for the director of a film she was making in Hungary.

"It was one of my worst moments," Pitt has said of the breakup that came after he bared his soul. "You don't forget something like that, and maybe I've never quite gotten over the feeling of humiliation."

Explaining why Jolie might not ever get a similarly sweet note, he said the experience "may have affected the way I've conducted relationships since."

Still, Brangelina have seemed happier than ever while spending the holidays in Australia, where Jolie is directing her next film, Unbroken. The couple were spotted picking up last-minute gifts for their kids at a Target in a mall in Queensland on December 22.

Michelle Obama Wants To Divorce Barack Obama - National Enquirer

"I'VE had enough!" Furious first lady Michelle Obama hurled those fight ing words at her husband after he publicly humiliated her by flirting with a leggy blonde foreign leader at South African icon Nelson Mandela's memorial ser vice, sources say.

In a bombshell world exclusive, The ENQUIRER has learned that in the wake of the mortifying incident, Presi dent Barack Obama and his wife are now sleeping in separate White House bedrooms.

Sources say an enraged Michelle is also preparing to boot her hubby of 21 years out of their ritzy Chicago home – and seriously discussing divorce.

"The smart money says the marriage is doomed," said a close source.

"Barack and Michelle have had a rocky go for years and mainly stayed together for their daughters and his political career.

"But now Michelle is mad AS hell. She feels violated in front of the whole world, and screamed at him, 'I've had enough!'

"She's met with divorce lawyers and told Barack that she wants a life apart from him."

An Oval Office insider added: "Mi chelle will stay in the White House for the rest of Barack's term for ap pearances' sake, but she made it clear they'll be leading separate lives.

"She's moving into one of the va cant bedrooms in the family's private living quarters, and she's preparing to move his clothes and personal things out of their million-dollar house in Chicago."

Sources say Michelle, 49, hit the roof after her lusty hubby was pho tographed brazenly flirting with Denmark's dishy female prime min ister, Helle Thorning-Schmidt, during the service for former South African president Mandela.

Obama, 52, laughed and whispered with the 46-year-old Danish beauty throughout the solemn ceremony, at one point cavalierly caressing her shoulder.

The two also playfully snapped a "selfie" photograph together while Michelle shot daggers at them.

The Danish press has dubbed Thorn ing-Schmidt "Gucci Helle" for her love of designer clothes.

While she lives in Copenhagen, her husband resides in Davos, Switzerland, and the couple's accountant reportedly said that her husband was "gay or may be bisexual."

Obama's outrageous antics with her made him the butt of international ridicule, with American media outlets going on the attack.

"New York Post" columnist Andrea Peyser blasted: "(Mandela) was a man who Obama compared at the memorial to Abraham Lincoln, Mahatma Gandhi and Dr. Martin Luther King. And here was the president, publicly behaving as if he was plotting his next hook-up. It was unseemly.

"…Not to be outdone by the presi dent's bad behavior, the Danish hellcat hiked up her skirt to expose long Scandinavian legs covered by nothing more substantial than sheer black stockings."

Famed body language ex pert Dr. Lillian Glass, who evaluated the photographs at The ENQUIRER's request, was appalled at the president's behavior. "This was clearly extremely humil iating for the first lady," Dr. Glass told The ENQUIRER.

"The president effectively ignored her and acted like he and the Dan ish prime minister were the only two people around. And he did this with the whole world watching.

"The photos show Michelle going through a series of emotions, rang ing from shock to anger and extreme jealousy. I think there are many changes occurring in their relation ship."

The president's staff was also quick to criticize his horn-dog conduct, sources say.

"Barack already had enough head aches with his public approval rating plummeting after the disastrous roll out of his 'Obamacare' health plan. Now he's walked smack into the worst marital crisis of his life," said the White House insider.

"Behind the scenes, his advisers chewed him out, saying the photo graphic images of his frat-boy hijinks will haunt him forever.

"On top of that, women voters have bombarded the White House with letters, phone calls and emails ex pressing sympathy for the first lady and anger at the president.

"Even Obama's top female advisers and friends like Valerie Jarrett were disappointed with him."

Sadly for Michelle, the spectacle in South Africa wasn't the first time the charmer-in-chief has crossed the line with other women.

But the couple's fight over his be havior with the sexy Danish leader was the worst ever, "and they've had some doozies," said the White House insider.

"Rather than unloading on him in South Africa, where their privacy was not guaranteed, or on Air Force One among other high-ranking dig nitaries, including George and Laura Bush and Hillary Clinton, Michelle reserved her fury until they were back in their private quarters in the White House. Then she went ballistic behind closed doors.

"Barack has humiliated Mi chelle before, but this incident was played out on the world stage. Practically everybody on the planet saw what he did and realized that the president has absolutely no respect for his wife."

Meanwhile, The ENQUIRER has learned the first couple plans to live nearly 5,000 miles apart when their days at the White House come to an end. Obama reportedly plans to settle in his native Hawaii, where his presidential library and political center will be located. Sources say he'll live with his longtime pal Bobby Titcomb, who was busted for soliciting a prostitute in 2011.

Michelle will remain in Wash ington, D.C., until the couple's youngest daughter Sasha, 12, finishes high school. Daughter Malia, 15, is a high school sophomore.

For now, Michelle is gearing up for a nasty divorce battle. But sources say she'll most likely wait to slap Barack with divorce papers until after he leaves the Oval Office, when he'll likely earn more than $30 million in book deals and bank $65 million in appearance fees.

"Now that Barack has embarrassed Michelle in front of the world, he's going to pay a big, big price," said the insider. "Michelle has said she wants a huge chunk of his net worth.

"This divorce is going to cost him a fortune."
